As we've built the YML2 site we've scoured the web for lacrosse inspired quotes.  Those we've posted we've proudly written ourselves.  There was this great article in 2014 written by US Lacrosse that quoted 35 All Star players, both male and female,  that we found inspiring.  Our favorites were: Taylor D'Amore, attack, who said, "Stick skills are learned through practice on your own time away from the game." Who's coming to Philly for the NCAA finals - Memorial Day weekend?

Don't wait until the last-minute - NCAA tickets to the lacrosse finals are on sale now and we heard from the ticket office they will mail them out in April. How hooked on lacrosse are you? Have you started watching and re-watching recorded games on ESPN yet? Well no time like the present to stop doing something active and watch someone else do something active. Remember this is a running game - sitting on the sofa watching games can teach you something about strategies but eventually you need to put down the remote and go out and move your feet.

Anybody who grew up in a town that didn't have lacrosse as a varsity sport knows what I'm talking about.  Your kid comes home and says, "Hey mom, I want to try out for the lacrosse team." Cool idea...Next thing you know you are standing on the sidelines and you've got absolutely no idea what's going on.  Kids are running on and off the field. Penalties are being called and just about the only thing you understand is when one of them gets the ball in the goal, that's a good thing.Despite the confusion I felt when watching that first...
